My 10 Most Popular Alphabet Prints for Kids’ Rooms

One of the questions I get asked most often is which alphabet prints are the most popular in my collection and honestly, it’s always fascinating seeing which letters people connect with most.

Over the years, my alphabet series has grown into one of the biggest parts of my work. What started as a few playful illustrations has slowly become a full A–Z collection filled with colour, nostalgia and little pieces of childhood joy.

I wanted these prints to feel modern and design-led, but still fun and imaginative for children. Something that could sit beautifully within a family home rather than feeling overly loud or “babyish”.

Here are 10 of the alphabet prints that customers come back to again and again.

A is for Apple

Childs bedroom with a large alphabet print of A for apple hanging above a bed with a blue quilt.

This was one of the very first prints I designed for the collection and it’s still one of the most loved.

I think people are drawn to its simplicity, bold colour, clean shapes and a little nod to classic early learning imagery, but with a more contemporary feel.

It works beautifully in nurseries, playrooms and minimalist children’s spaces.

E is for Earth

The Earth print has become incredibly popular over the last few years, especially with parents creating nature-inspired or Montessori-style bedrooms.

I love that it feels educational and calming at the same time. The soft blues and greens work so well in neutral interiors too.

F is for Football

This one is always a bestseller for sporty little ones.

I wanted the football print to feel graphic and playful without being overly themed, so it still works within modern interiors while bringing personality into the room.

S is for Sun

Colourful children's books on a shelf above a desk with two alphabet prints, S for sun and R for rainbow, and stationery.

The Sun print feels instantly happy.

It’s one of those pieces that seems to brighten a room even on grey days, which perhaps explains why people love it so much. It works especially well paired with warm woods, natural textures and soft neutral decor.

R is for Rocket

A framed poster featuring a stylized rocket on a navy background with the letter 'R' on top, displayed on a neutral white wall.

There’s something timeless about space themes in children’s rooms and my rocket print adds that sense of adventure and imagination.

It’s especially popular for gallery walls and shared bedrooms.

C is for Cat

This one has such a playful personality.

I think people love the cat print because it feels both fun and stylish, a little quirky, but still simple enough to work in calm interiors. It’s also one of the prints I see most often in customer photos.

I is for Ice Cream

Modern pink and white decor with a large framed poster of an ice cream.

Probably the sweetest print in the whole collection.

The soft pastel tones make this one incredibly versatile and it works beautifully in colourful playrooms and more muted nursery spaces alike.

It always makes me smile when I see it hanging in children’s bedrooms (or colourful kitchens).

R is for Rainbow

Rainbows never seem to go out of style in kids’ interiors.

This print has become especially popular for bright, creative spaces filled with colour and personality. I wanted my rainbow illustration to feel modern and graphic rather than overly trendy, so it would still feel timeless years later. It also works for both girls and boys rooms.

A is for Astronaut

A framed print featuring an illustration of an astronaut with the letter 'A' above the image on wall in childs room surrounded by toys and books

Another space-themed favourite.

The astronaut print feels imaginative, playful and slightly nostalgic all at once. It’s one of those pieces that children seem to really connect with, especially little ones dreaming about space, planets and adventure.

W is for Watermelon

This print brings such a fun burst of colour into a room.

The watermelon illustration feels fresh, cheerful and playful, and it works beautifully in summer-inspired nurseries or colourful gallery walls.

It’s also one of the prints that photographs especially well in customer homes and older kids rooms.

Creating Alphabet Prints That Feel Timeless

One thing I always come back to when designing these pieces is balance.

I want them to feel joyful and childlike, but also calm enough to sit naturally within your home. I think that’s why so many parents are drawn to them, they add colour and personality without creating visual clutter.

Seeing these prints hanging in your homes honestly never gets old for me. Whether they’re styled in cosy nursery corners, playful shared bedrooms or colourful reading spaces, it means so much knowing they become part of your family life.
