About Lorna
Lorna Freytag is an artist and illustrator based in the Highlands of Scotland. Originally from Edinburgh, she studied at Gray’s School of Art before living and working in Dubai, New York, Sydney and London.
Her large-scale original paintings combine bold colour, graphic simplicity and playful oversized forms inspired by childhood imagery and design. Working with simplified shapes and carefully balanced colour palettes, her work sits somewhere between contemporary art, illustration and modern interior design.
Designed to bring optimism and personality into a space, her paintings work equally well in stylish family homes, contemporary living spaces and playful kids rooms.
