Working from my studio in the north of Scotland my illustrations have been used for picture books, magazines, wall prints and commercial commissions around the world. My bold & playful style is also applied to my new large scale paintings which are for sale periodically throughout the year- so stay tuned.

Originally from Edinburgh, I have been lucky enough to have lived and worked all over the world. Now based in the highlands of Scotland I apply my bold illustration style to a variety of projects with many new ideas bubbling away waiting to be discovered....

Here’s some Lorna trivia:
I used to be a kids fashion photographer in London and shot for Harpers Bazaar, Harrods, Collezioni Bambini and Junior Magazine to name a few.
As a published children’s book illustrator I’ve been lucky enough to work with Walker Books, Piccadilly Press, Bonnier and Carlton Publishing.
I studied at Gray’s School of Art, RGU in Aberdeen where i met my talented husband Daniel Freytag (who runs award winning branding & design company Freytag Anderson.)
I’m originally an Edinburgh girl but I’m now a converted west-coaster.
I’ve been exceptionally lucky to have lived and worked in some of the most exciting cities in the world: New York, Sydney, London, Dubai, Glasgow and now the small seaside town of Oban- which I love!
I have two lovely kids aged 9 and 11 (they’re both ‘spirited’ and wild!). They keep us on our toes.
I work from the best studio in the world with the most amazing views over Oban Bay watching the ferries sail off to Mull.
