Sizing
What size wall art works best in a nursery?
Most nurseries and kids rooms work best with medium or large prints so they are visible from across the room. Popular sizes are A2 or 50×70cm for a statement piece above a cot, dresser or changing table. Smaller prints work well as part of a gallery wall alongside other illustrations or family photos.

What size will my framed print be?
My handmade frames are 2 cm thick.
To calculate the overall framed size, simply add 4 cm (1.57 inches) to both the width and height of your chosen print.
What wall art is best for a nursery or child's bedroom?
The best wall art for a nursery or kids room is colourful, simple and easy for children to recognise as they grow. Alphabet prints, animal illustrations and personalised portraits are especially popular because they combine decoration with learning and personal meaning. Bold alphabet wall prints are a favourite choice as they help children begin recognising letters or initials while adding colour to the room.
Are alphabet prints good for kids?
Alphabet prints are one of the most popular types of nursery wall art. They introduce children to letters in a playful visual way and grow with the child as they begin recognising the alphabet. Many parents choose bold alphabet posters that combine bright colours with clear letterforms, be it their child's initial or an illustration of a favourite theme to suit their room making learning fun.
Personalised Portraits
What is personalised nursery wall art?
Personalised wall art is artwork customised for a specific child. This can include a child’s name, chosen colours or illustrated features such as hairstyle and skin tone. Personalised portrait prints are especially popular because they create a unique keepsake that feels special to the child and family.
Are your portrait prints created from photographs?
No. My personalised portraits are not drawn from photos.
Instead, you choose from a wide range of hairstyles, colours, outfits and themes to create a close likeness. The result captures their character in a bold, graphic way.
Can I request specific features like glasses?
Yes. I’m happy to adjust details like glasses or skin tone at no extra charge. Just email me after placing your order and I’ll take care of it.
Can I choose different colours?
Yes. All my designs include custom colour options. If you’d like something specific, write a little note with your order or get in touch with any questions.
